Driver and Passenger Air Conditioning (HVAC)

At Karsan Automotive, I took end-to-end responsibility in the commissioning processes of heat pump air conditioning (HVAC) and frontbox units for an unreleased next-generation commercial vehicle platform.

Systems Engineering and Contributions

• Integrated the new generation heat pump air conditioning system and frontbox unit into the vehicle architecture.
• Performed detailed mechanical design of gas and drainage lines to ensure efficient thermal system operation.
• Designed body connections for the developed components in compliance with mechanical strength requirements.
• Created a comprehensive Bill of Materials (BOM) for the entire system to streamline procurement and production processes.
• Prepared DFMEA and FTA documentation as part of the project's quality assurance steps to proactively prevent potential system failures.
