High-Voltage Heater (HVH) Integration
At Karsan Automotive, I took end-to-end responsibility for the integration of the High Voltage Heater, a critical component for air conditioning in electric vehicles, into the vehicle architecture. It was aimed to make the vehicle more efficient and reduce costs by optimizing current system performance.
Systems Engineering and Achievements
- Designed the heating circuit and electrical integration from scratch.
- Executed the selection and design of HV and LV connectors.
- Engineered on-vehicle routing for hoses and connectors, and generated a comprehensive BOM for the entire system.
- Established system operation scenarios and determined vehicle-level thermal safety criteria.
- Performed 1D analyses to achieve optimal system operating performance.
- Meticulously prepared DFMEA, FMEA, FTA, and PDB quality documentation, increasing system reliability and contributing to planned cost reduction targets.
